Leadership Corner

When in leadership there is a big difference from being a pew member.  We experience and look at situations differently than lay persons.   The Leadership Corner  is to inspire and lift up, I want you to be encouraged to continue to hold up the blood stained banner. Continue to help, preach, and teach those that are in need of God.

The Word says God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.  So continue to run on!  God has a blessing for the workers that labour in the field.  We have to lead by precept and example.  It is true that our lives are not our own and that we have been called to much greater works.  I plan to leave you with a scripture to meditate on, I will change it every few days and I want to open up discussions and dialogue to help us be effective leaders in our congregations and communities. Feel free to leave a comment, question, or even some inspirational words for other readers.

Scripture of the Day:

Psalms 25:4-5
Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.  Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. (KJV)

I was once told the best leaders were and still are great followers. In leadership we are always looked to, and that's okay. But, let's make sure our eyes are set to our Father for direction and guidance, especially when it comes to the matter of His people.

In Solidarity of Christ ~
