A Prayer for You and I
Lord help us all to know You better, to quiet the voices that tell us no, that say we won't be anything, that speak against our purpose, teach us to war in the spirit instead of the flesh. Teach us to speak life into our situations and to shun evil. Above all draw us closer to You, let us have the like mindset of Christ, let us love what You love, and hate what You hate. Let us be anxious for nothing, but by all things in prayer let our request be made known unto You. In your mighty Son Jesus Name, Thank you Father, -Amen.

It's Worth It
I just want to encourage you all today and everyday that the hardships in life that you go through, the test and trials that come, and anything that you have to work for is worth it. God wants what is best for you, He's not going to deny you unless it's for your own good, and He will bring you into the fullness of His blessings.
Just hold on a little longer, be like Jacob, and don't let go until your blessing comes. I can tell you from experience that when it does you won't have room enough to receive it. That it will be better than you ever imagined. And I'll tell you something else, He's not done yet! He can, will, and always does exceedingly above anything we can expect or fathom. So my prayer for you today is that you hold on, stand strong, and that the blessings of the Lord overtake you!

You Said It
This passage of scripture has a lot of good teaching in it. But again what we are focusing on is what God tells Ezekiel to do, and then what happens when he does it. God told Ezekiel to prophesy. He was basically telling him to speak to the bones and to speak breath. God told Ezekiel to SPEAK LIFE!!! Ezekiel did what he was told to do in the vision and as a result God would restore Israel. This is the same thing for us today. If we would prophesy, speak life to every aspect of our lives, then God will listen, restore, and bless.
I want to mention one more scripture to help you start to care more about what you say. Mark 11:23 says, "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”. So be encouraged to throw away the negativity. Don't think your words don't have consequences. Parents speak into your children's lives. If you say mean things in the heat of the moment it matters. If you've ever spitefully called your children lazy, stupid, dumb, ignorant, selfish, etc. That matters. If you've said those same things about yourself or others, it matters. Those words don't just go away. The pile up and become great big road blocks in your lives and the lives of those you spoke them about.
Being aware of the things we say can be one of the best things we can do for ourselves in this Christian walk. For me, I've noticed how much better my outlook and attitude is throughout the day. I encourage you to speak positivity, because what we speak we shall have.

Communicating with God
Did you know that communicating with God is the most important thing in the life of a believer?
It is important that we constantly communicate with God and that He in turn speaks back. Our basic form of communication is prayer. Prayer is how we build our relationship, it's how we give the matters of the heart over to Him, and how we enter into His presence. The relationship with God is much like the relationship of a husband and wife. I' ve been married for almost fourteen years and by far what makes it successful is communication.
Prayer; constant communication between you and God, is the foundation to your spiritual life. It's intimate time with Him, a one on one experience that leaves you strengthened and encouraged to go a little further assured that He is right by your side.
There are many instances in the bible that shows just how important prayer is. King David was a praying man. He knew how to come before the Lord in prayer. David inquired of the Lord many times and God answered him.
In the book of Daniel we see that Daniel diligently inquired of God and prayed to Him earnestly. God moved mightily during that time for Daniel and the three Hebrew boys, so much so that they found favor during their captivity in Babylon.
And finally we see that even Jesus, the Son of God, that though He was fully God and fully man still took the time to pray to the Father. Anything that we know Jesus did, we should be found doing the same.
It is so important that we pray. The bible declares we should "pray without ceasing", so this means all of the time, about everything so that God can give us direction.
Prayer is not hard! You don't have to have big words or grand gestures. You just have to have an open and willing heart. Sit quietly in a room, in your car, get on your knees, kneal down, or even lay prostrate on the floor. However you need to do it, just do it.
Begin to tell Him how greatful you are, How worthy He is, just begin to praise Him. The word says "enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise". That is a model for prayer and as you begin to open up the Holy Spirit will take over and usher you into worship before God. And the more you pray, God will mold your prayer life to His will and pleasure. Don't get discouraged, just keep communicating, keep praying.
I want to pray with you now:
Father God of heaven, in the name and precious blood of Jesus, I come before your throne to give you honor and glory and to bless your Holy Name. Lord I pray that whoever you have led here finds exactly what they are looking for and that it strengthens and encourages them to keep pressing on in your name. Let their heart be content with the place you have put them in and let them be renewed by Your glory. I ask these things in Jesus Name from now and forever more ~Amen.
Keep praying, start praying! It' never to late to get in line and get it right. Communicate with God, he's waiting for you. He wants nothing more than relationship with us and prayer is the very foundation.
~ God bless you real good!
